4Great stuff  Apr 13, 2010 By David Beierl
This self-fusing tape is excellent and strong. It has to be stretched at least double length while applying it; sometimes it's hard to keep it clean while applying. It can stand a bit of dirt no problem, but not anything that covers a large percentage of the area. It's been in common use in the marine world for a decade, just starting to trickle into the automotive market. This *will* make a good bandage for a coolant leak as long as the hose is stiff enough to not collapse while the tape is being applied. Applying over a wet surface should be ok, but getting wet in between the layers will probably interfere with it curing. Cures well enough to use in a minute or so. For the old folks, this is the silicone version of electrician's rubber tape, but much stronger and more durable. Overlap the turns at least 50%.

5Unbelievable Product  Dec 12, 2009 By Gepetto
Hundreds of applications. It doesn't leave "sticky marks" like duct tape, it stretches....just a fantastic product. I just hope the price comes down as people discover this product and the volume goes up.
