 Disappointed. Jul 02, 2010
I used it on PVC pipe on a sprinkler system. Wrapped the leaky area many times over. The leak reduced a bit, but not very much. Definitely not the miracle tape it claims to be.

If you've ever repaired a power cord with electrical tape you know it's sticky and generally fails within a short period of time. The Rescue tape isn't sticky, yet adheres to itself with a strong bond. No fuss, no muss. I'm now roaming around the house looking for things to repair. Buy this product.

The Best Tape for Certain Applications Jan 25, 2010
Your home or shop should have a roll of this silicone tape. VERY high temperature ranges yet remains pliable (my son used some for a jump-start battery's split insulation in Minnesota recently when the absolute temp was minus 21 (no typo)). Perfectly flexible. Works in temps above 600 degrees F as I recall, too.
Excellent dielectric (insulating) strength, easy to use self-sticking tape if you wait a few seconds or forget taking it apart. Amazingly stretchable for pressure on the part or extending the length, i.e. value, of this product.
I got some for my EE brother who repairs vintage radios, and he's happy with it too.
Yes, it's costly, but it's unique and irreplaceable for extreme applications. A word of caution: the plastic separator creates static, so try to keep this tape away from dust and dirt when applying.

I'm an avid RV'er and I believe this should be definitely aboard for a myriad of reasons. It is a great product and worth its weight in gold.
